Here is the first look at the crochet beanie with felt flower and coordinating button that I will have available at the Fabric4u2 October Market.
What do you think?
Matching booties still to come!
I have been featured on The Handmade Library’s 12 Handmade weeks to Christmas!!!
I’m working on something for the Fabrics4u2 online market in October, here is a sneaky peak at what I will be using.
Also my rose is starting to open up, isn’t it gorgeous!!!!!
I’m offering free STANDARD POSTAGE (Australia Only) till 12pm today. So why not head on over and have a look at what is available Bits & Bobs 4 Bubs.
Stay tuned for my 15min Skirt Tutorial tomorrow over at Eat Craft Sow!
Just thought I would share this new nappy wallet currently on the sewing table waiting for it’s magnetic snaps to be inserted.
Busy with kids birthday parties this weekend so hope to have it up for you soon.
Just received this lovely fabric the other day.
I have nappy wallets planned for this lovely bright Ooh la la design by Pillow & Maxfield:
And this one, Big Poppy by Laura Gunn, well I know the name says it all but I didn’t think the flower was that big so I don’t think I will be doing the nappy wallet with this one but I do have something in mind so stay tuned!
I recently shared a sneak peak picture of a baby blanket that I am crocheting for a friend.
It’s coming along very slowly as I have been busy at the sewing machine. Originally I was going to back this blanket with this cute fabric, Robert Kaufmann Fruit Basket, I picked up but as this is the first time I have crocheted the basket weave stitch, I didn’t realise how heavy it would turn out.
So I have decided that I am going to use this fabric to edge the blanket like you would when you are binding a quilted blanket.
Bub is not due till later in the year so hopefully I will be finished in time. Stay Tuned!!
I have a request a while ago about a nappy wallet that would hold modern cloth nappy’s. I designed a mock-up of what it would look like and even thought the customer was happy with it they did not have one custom made.
I have been playing with different ideas of the last couple of months and this is what I have come up with.
The main part of the wallet is a box style bag which can hold 3 MCN’s along with their inserts.
I have attached a wallet to the side which contains 2 pockets, one designed to hold a nappy wipes case.
The handle is a key fob style as well and it comes with a matching wet back that is lined with PUL.
This has now been added to the Made It store and I will be making a few more over the next few weeks.
Custom orders are always welcome!

It’s finally here, my new Clutch Style Nappy Wallet and I must say I am very happy with how it turned out.
I just loved making this and I hope you like the new look too. It has 3 pockets inside, 1 for your nappy’s, one for your nappy sacks and one for your wipes case.
Do you love the felt embellishment on the front. I have always loved these little flowers and thought they would be perfect to give the wallet that little something extra.
I have also removed the Velcro strap and replaced it with a magnetic closure and the hand is now a key fob style.
There are 4 currently available with one more on the table waiting for the closure to be up in.
Would love your feedback.

I have been thinking a lot about the look of my pram liners and decided that I would make a few changes.
The top and bottom of the liner now has rounded corners instead of square. I have widened the anchor points and instead of having 2 different fabrics front and back, the are the now the same both sides.
There are now 6 new liners available at the Made It Store along with 3 of the old style.
I just love this fabric, it’s Michael Miller’s Giraffe Love. Isn’t it just gorgeous.

Here they are and new to Bits & Bobs are my Kindy/Library Drawstring Bags.
I actually came up with the idea of the Kindy/Library bag as my daughter who is at kindy has one for her sheets but it is looking a bit worst for wear.
The pocket on the front was so that you could put an id card in and not have to worry about writing your child’s name on the fabric and could re use by another. Or just somewhere to put a library card.
Bags are fully lined and come with a plastic cord closure.
Hope you like them,

I finally have done it, my first stall and my nervous were running a hundred miles an hour I was nearly dizzy.
But after I set everything up, introduced myself to some of the lovely ladies around me and made my first stall in the first 20 mins, I managed to calm my nerves.
Here is a picture of my stall. What do you think? My mum came down to keep me company after she finished work. Here she is pretending to be doing something lol.
I have learnt a lot from doing this stall and know what I would do differently next time. I think I definitely need another table as I didn’t take as much as I had planned too.
The new items that I made for the stall and did not sell will be up on the Made It site this week. Just need to take a few pictures.
I also have my new Tooth Fairy Mobile that I can’t wait to share with you and I will be making more regular postings on the blog along with more tutorials.
So I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back on board this week.
